King Charles III took an oath to rule the people with justice and kindness during his coronation today at Westminster Abbey in London.
His Majesty swears to rule the people with justice and charity and to defend the Anglican Church of England and the Presbyterian Church of Scotland, the Royal Family posted in a photo on its Twitter page. His Majesty also prays for grace to be “a blessing to all… of every faith and belief” at a coronation for the first time.

After his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, passed away on September 8, 2022, Charles became the new monarch of the United Kingdom.
