NRC resume with more train services trip to Abuja-Kaduna Sunday

According to the Nigerian Railway Corporation’s Board of Management, two more train excursions between Abuja and Kaduna have resumed on Sunday.

In January of this year that the Abuja-Kaduna train detailed in Kubwa resulted in a decrease in journeys on the rail track.

However, the NRC administration announced on Saturday that the rail service would start up again on Sunday, June 4, 2023.

The NRC apologizes to all of its esteemed passengers for any inconvenience caused by the brief suspension of train operations. The NRC implements procedures like social isolation and routine sanitation to guarantee the safety of its passengers.

The Board and Management of Nigerian Railway Corporation NRC are pleased to announce the restart of two (2) additional train journeys on the suspended Abuja-Kaduna Train Service.

“On Sunday, June 4, 2023, the additional train service will resume with the following train trips: AK1 departs IDU at 09:45 hrs., KA2 departs RIGASA at 13:30 hrs., and AK3 departs IDU at 1500 hrs.

After that, starting on Monday, June 5, 2023, the schedule will be as follows: KA2 will leave RIGASA at 8:00 a.m.; AK1 will leave IDU at 9:00 a.m.; and KA4 will leave RIGASA at 1:00 p.m. At 1500 UTC, AK3 will depart from IDU.

But only KA2 and AK3 will leave RIGASA and IDU at 7:00 and 1500, respectively, on Wednesdays.

The Corporation expresses its apologies once more for any discomfort the temporary restriction in train service may have caused our respected passengers.
