‘Peter Obi has vindicated us,’ Rivers Obi support group

The Labour Party‘s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has received praise from a group in Port Harcourt for his most recent interview, in which he clarified that the Obidient Movement was not just about party candidates but also about competent leadership.

The convener of Obidient SIMplify, Mr. Ken Agala, told reporters at a rally held to mobilize Obidients in Rivers toward the realization of what they call the “SIMple” solution to Rivers.

That Obi’s most recent interview on Arise News on a Monday morning has vindicated the group’s stance to support candidates with character and integrity, regardless of which party they identify with.

“The new Nigeria promised by the LP candidate is beginning to take shape in Nigeria right now.

That is obviously a novel way of doing things and a departure from the conventional wisdom.

A circumstance in which voters will select candidates across party lines as opposed to the traditional top-to-bottom method that has taken our economy from top to bottom.

In response to inquiries concerning the Obidient Movement’s function, Mr. Agala said that effective governance, which starts with choosing the right people, was everything.

“In Rivers State, we reviewed every candidate and chose SIM Fubara because we felt she had the skills and abilities to effectively handle limited resources.

“Equity and protecting the weak against the strong are at the heart of government.

It’s about distributing few resources fairly, and SIM’s history personifies the type of person who can make that promise, according to Agala.
