As the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi’s gale of supporters has continued to wind heavily as the election draw nearer, Nigerians in the diaspora said Obi’s leadership charisma has spun its way into the lives of many people.
Former Labour Party gubernatorial candidate for Imo State in 2019, Law Osondu in its remarks during Saturday match for Obi/Datti Movement at the Freedom Plaza in Washington DC said he followed especially when Barack Obama contested for the Presidency of the United States noting he knocked on doors for him.

Osondu noted that he has never experienced politics or seen a movement like that of Peter Obi, not even Obama, and many interviews one on one.
The former LP candidate further said, “Peter Obi is going to face a lot of odds because it’s like a small fish swimming among sharks and crocodiles. But what I’m going to tell you today is that we must overcome because, nobody has met the requirements for the president of Nigeria except Peter Obi, considering everything you know about him and what is been through.”

The event drew notable Nigerians from all works of life from among major states and cities in the United States where a declaration that formally endorsed Peter Obi as the preferred candidate for the Saturday, February 25th election was taken.
Osondu enjoined Nigerians back home to cast their votes for him saying, “we have come to a time where we must leave out sentiments and save Nigeria by looking at individuals who can lead with the fear of God and provide gainful employment for the youths.”
“We must, in this 2023, fashion a new Nigeria, Nigeria that will give the people equity, fairness, and justice.
“The PDP has failed Nigerians, APC has failed Nigerians, political parties have failed Nigerians.
“Of the three presidential candidates, Peter Obi has the character, and competence to lead Nigeria,” they asserted.
