Colombia, Flying Eagles draw 3-3 in a int’l friendly

In their final pre-FIFA U-20 World Cup encounter on Tuesday, Nigeria’s Flying Eagles held Colombia to a 3-3 draw.

Nine minutes after falling behind to an own goal by Abel Ogwuche on the 20th minute, Colombia boosted their chances.

Aerial Eagles Jude Sunday saved the Nigerian team just six minutes before the break.

Yaser Asprilla scored right away after the restart, but Mohammed Beji of the Flying Eagles added a goal in the 65th to keep Ladan Bosso’s team ahead by two goals.

Emmanuel Umeh’s goal allowed Nigeria to tie the game.

As a result, the Flying Eagles will compete against the Dominican Republic, Brazil, and Italy in the group stage.
