Timothy Weah, a winger for the United States, is being carefully watched by Juventus, claims Calciomercato.
The Turin giants are anticipated to make a strong push to acquire the USMNT star at the end of this season when his transfer fee will have decreased because Weah, 23, has a contract with Lille that expires in the summer of 2024.
The son of previous Ballon d’Or winner George Weah joined Les Dogues from PSG in July 2019 for a fee of €10 million. Since then, he has scored eight goals and provided eight assists across all competitions. Weah has made 24 starts for the Ligue 1 team this year but has only managed two assists.
Even so, the Bianconeri are said to respect his flexibility because, after Ismaily’s injury, coach Paulo Fonseca had the natural right winger start at left back.
According to reports, Juve will keep an eye on Weah, who has interest from clubs all over France, and may make a move during the summer transfer season.
