Napoli forward Victor Osimhen struck either side of the break to steer the Italians to a comfortable 3-0 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt on Wednesday and into the Champions League quarterfinals for the first time.
The 24-year-old Nigeria international, who also scored in their 2-0 win over Eintracht in Germany, scored with a header in first-half stoppage time.
In the 53rd minute, Osimhen scored his 23rd goal in 28 games in all competitions this season with a tap-in following a rapid four-pass Napoli move, and Piotr Zielinski then converted a penalty to seal a 5-0 victory overall.
A police car was set on fire and stones were thrown at buses and police during the pre-game brawl in the Italian city.
Due to fears of potential violence, Italian authorities had forbade German fans from attending the game, but some Eintracht supporters went regardless.
