Sowore, others participate in Abuja marathon

Omoyele Sowore, the AAC presidential candidate in the most recent general elections, ran in the inaugural Abuja International Marathon on Saturday.

The winners of the men’s and women’s divisions of the race were Bahraini runner Ruth Jebet and Kenyan Emmanuel Naibet.

Naibet finished first in the event in 2:13:45. In Nigeria, Naibet has now triumphed in a marathon twice. He prevailed in the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon of 2021.
